These short starter miles let me sleep in and start late. Enjoying it while it lasts.
5 miles @ 9:19 pace. I’m very slow these days.
Plan is to build the mileage slowly through February and then train for a May marathon.
5 miles @ 9:10 pace. 30 degrees or so outside. Wore long pants.
Disappeared into the world of amateur (ham) radio for a week and a half. No running – just radio waves. Made several antennas and talked around the world. Lots of fun and seemed to clear out the head a bit.
Started off the work week right with a small jog this morning – 3 miles @ 8:22 pace. Nice and cool – and dark. Will build slowly from here.
Out in the dark today to get some blood flowing. It’s wood chopping time so while the miles are few, I’m getting in a different type of workout. Probably a quarter way through. Vacation is coming up so I hope to finish it during my week off.
Another easy 30 minutes this morning. Wondering if I have a small case of PF in the right foot. Perhaps I will soak it this weekend.
Did an easy ten miles this morning. The wind was cool and even though the temperature was a little above 50 it felt colder. Felt ok, but the right foot hurt a little on the very bottom.
Met up with Eric for about 5 minutes. Good to see him.
Finally got back out this morning for 30 easy minutes. ~ 3.3 miles. Wet but not raining.
Also getting back on ham radio. Made a nice contact with KP2XX in
Lack of internet has made me lose touch with Mike. Just found out he’s running
