Hello
I am still here, just faltering under the stress of work lately. 12 miles this morning ~7:20 pace.
Wore a wind jacket for the first time in many weeks as the wind was blowing quite hard this morning. A beautiful sunrise - it felt like fall, only slightly warmer. Ah, autumn. Now that's a season.

Good to see I'm not the only one looking forward to autumn. Happy running!
Happy to hear you are alive...thought maybe an osprey swooped down and plucked you right off your motorcycle on your way home.
I had a great time on our run...ah, running with good friends, there's nothing like it.
I would love to have a day cool enough to be able to wear a jacket. Nothing but hot here.
Just so you know, our family is thinking about you. This is part of an email I just got from the wife about what our kids are up to while playing make-believe:
"Well, they're off on a bike ride to 'Mount Lemmons' (daughter's words). She's asking me to pack them a snack of bread and water. Wonder if she's been discussing nutrition with that runner guy in Maine."
I do remember a time long ago when you were writing about ducking into the house for pieces of bread and drinks of water during your long runs.
This is strange, but feels like autumn here too ... time get back to serious work!
